Here’s the breakdown of why we need the rest of the $ and how it will be spent
Rental Assistance (27%)
This amount will help cover the rent for 2 semesters, giving the chapter time to continue to grow its membership, fill the house and achieve financial self-sufficiency.
University Buy-In (18%)
This is the required buy-in payment to the university, securing our place at 2 Fraternity Row.Furnishings (37%)
These funds will be used for furniture and supplies that ensure that we have a comfortable and welcoming space for all members.Cash Reserves (18%)
This reserve will be set aside for emergencies and contingencies, providing a financial cushion to address unexpected needs.

All donations to this campaign are being collected to support Sigma Alpha Mu's return to Fraternity Row at the University of Maryland. Funds raised will be used for temporary rent supplements, furnishings, essential upgrades, and maintenance of the house. In the event that we raise funds in excess of our goal, Sigma Alpha Mu reserves the right to allocate funds toward other chapter house needs, including maintenance, improvements and other operational expenses.
